The Learning Innovation Centre – UCP successfully conducted Training for Departmental Pedagogy Partners (DPPs) on 10th September 2026, led by trainer Zunaira Khalid. During the session, participants explored core frameworks to guide student-faculty collaborations, learning how to distinguish genuine pedagogical partnerships from mere task delegation and how to support these relationships without overstepping their role as facilitators. A major focus was placed on the “Learning Beyond AI” (LBAI) framework, where DPPs examined methods to foster human-centric intellectual capabilities—such as critical thinking, reasoning, and judgment—across three main pillars: Visible Thinking, Relational Application, and Conceptual Mastery. Furthermore, participants gained practical experience in applying Harvard Project Zero thinking routines, navigating assessment design across secured and open AI lanes using the AI Assessment Scale (AIAS), and utilizing the 10-indicator SPP Rubric to observe, support, and evaluate partnership health throughout the academic term.
