The Learning Innovation Centre (LIC), in collaboration with MCB Funds, conducted a session on “A Guide to Financial Freedom” on 27th of October, 2026 at the University of Central Punjab (UCP). Mr. Monis Usman, Chief Digital Business and Marketing Officer at MCB Funds, shared practical ways for faculty and staff to build wealth early and make their money work harder. He brings over 12 years of experience across leading organizations, including Daraz, Rocket Internet, and Pfizer. The session equipped participants with the knowledge to start investing with as little as Rs. 500 and understand how mutual funds compare with conventional savings. They also explored how to turn salaries and side income into long-term growth. Participants were introduced to MCB Funds’ iSAVE digital platform for investing independently, along with the fundamentals of regulated and Shariah-compliant investment options. They left with a clearer understanding of personal finance and the confidence to take their first steps toward financial security.
