Dr Fesal Toosy delivered a talk on “Winter Smog: Understanding the Science, Debunking the Myths, and Exploring the Solutions”. The talk was arranged by the Learning Innovation Center (LIC) in collaboration with the Climate Change Research Council.
The lecture covered the physical and chemical nature and contents of the smog and why it occurs in winter. Potential solutions were discussed and an idea for a network of Air Quality monitoring devices was presented.
The talk was attended by members of the faculty, including Dr Hammad Naveed, Pro Rector UCP.
