The Learning Innovation Centre (LIC) organized a highly engaging training session on “Managing for Learning: Strategies for Effective Classrooms”, conducted by Ms. Madiha Khan Niazi, Classroom Management Specialist on 3rd Sep 2026. The session focused on the importance of effective classroom management in creating positive learning environments, the teacher’s role in shaping student engagement, interactions and classroom culture, and the role of active learning and the Seven Principles of Good Practice in enhancing student learning. Participants also explored practical classroom management strategies to promote participation, inclusion and productive learning, along with technology-enhanced approaches that support active learning and effective classroom management. The interactive session provided participants with opportunities for reflection, collaboration and practical application, strengthening their capacity to create more engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
